My research focuses on social inclusion of immigrants and refugees of racially marginalized communities. With an anti-racist feminist and decolonial perspective, I investigate the roots of inequalities (in the process of “integration”) at the intersection of race, gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic situations and pursue situated and contextual conceptualizations of inclusion and justice. I’m interested in qualitative research methods, particularly arts-based and community-engaged research with marginalized communities.
