My research focuses on how emerging technologies are transforming worker health and safety in Canada and the policy responses that support these areas, particularly for immigrant workers. My doctoral work examined the working experiences of immigrant platform workers in Vancouver using a sociotechnical lens, showing how interactions between people, technologies, and policies shape their inclusion, exclusion, and overall working conditions.
