Decolonizing Migration Course Tools
Indigeneity and Migration
Author: Rima Wilkes
The motivation for the establishment of the UBC Migration-Indigeneity Group was a realization that much of the work in migration studies fails to engage with issues of Indigeneity. One of the key aims of the UBC Migration-Indigeneity Group is to work on bringing these migration studies and Indigenous studies into conversation and to work on issues of reconciliation/decolonization. The purpose of this list of sources is to assist scholars with adding more Indigenous-focused scholarship to their course syllabi. This list is intended as a starting point rather than an exhaustive list. This is a living document and we welcome any suggestions for literature to add.
