A public inventory of local initiatives across Metro Vancouver, co-created by CMS and Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House.
This initiative is part of the collaborative SSHRC-funded “Belonging in Unceded Territory” project between the UBC Centre for Migration Studies, Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, AMSSA, and ISSofBC. It aims to understand how residents of Vancouver configure social and place-based connectedness and belonging within a settler colonial context.
This digital map briefly introduces some of the many local projects that are dedicated to efforts of Truth and Reconciliation, decolonization and/or Indigenization on unceded Coast Salish territories:
- Waacus Salee Frog Spirit Project by Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House
- AMSSA (Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Service Agencies of BC)

The initiatives displayed on the map are not a comprehensive list and our project welcomes requests from other actors who are similarly engaged in decolonizing initiatives in the region.
