About
I am a PhD student in Language and Literacy Education with a research interest in occupation-related language learning. My overarching goal is to contribute to educational experiences that support meaningful career and continuing education pathways for adults with migration backgrounds. I am currently serving on the board of the British Columbia Teachers of English as an Additional Language (BC TEAL). I hold an MA in International Educational Development from Teachers College, Columbia University, and I have worked as a teacher and program coordinator in both community-based and college-based educational programs in diverse locations across North America.
