My research interests lie in transnational immigrants’ living and learning experiences in receiving countries. I am particularly interested in examining how recent skilled immigrants from non-European countries negotiate their cultural identities and knowledge structure between heritage culture and Canada in Canadian workplaces. Another crucial research point is how race, ethnicity, gender, and class intersect in this process.
