About
I am a PhD student in Political Science at the University of British Columbia doing research focused on migration policy and the experiences of migrants across different political and social settings. My current research examines how government policies shape temporary migrant workers’ ability to change jobs, leave difficult working conditions, and move through the labour market. I am also interested in refugee policy and in how migrants’ legal status affects their access to rights, public services, and opportunities. Across these areas, my work explores how migration policies shape not only where people can move, but also the choices and freedoms they have after they arrive.
