Each year, the UBC Centre for Migration Studies hosts its International Research Conference in collaboration with a partner university. The conference invites submissions from faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate student affiliates of the CMS and its partner institution and includes an internationally recognized scholar as the keynote speaker.

Presented by the UBC Centre for Migration Studies, in partnership with the Hong Kong Baptist University Faculty of Social Sciences, this conference will welcome migration scholar Nina Glick Schiller (Emeritus Professor, University of Manchester, UK) as our keynote speaker.
