My doctoral research focuses on immigrant housing in Canadian metropolitan areas. Housing plays an integral role in immigrants’ integration in host countries. By looking at immigration from the perspective of transnationalism, I aim to understand the immigrant housing experience, and its impact on the social geography of urban spaces.
