About
I am a Geography faculty member at Langara College. My current research explores immigration, education, and employment pathways for rural and urban international students in BC. I am particularly interested in how “edugration” processes are impacting international students and their families, how federal and provincial policy can produce more socially just outcomes, as well as how international student flows are changing the Canadian post-secondary landscape at the college level. My previous research focused on the experiences of refugees in Canada, especially around housing, social welfare, access to social services, and interaction with the criminal justice system.
