About

Dr. Nancy Clark has research expertise and interest in forced migration and refugee resettlement. This includes addressing social determinants of mental health and belonging alongside gender responsive services and supports during integration.

Research

My research is underpinned by social justice frameworks and focuses on  intersections of mental health, human rights and health care among immigrant and refugee groups that are resettled in the Canadian context. Migration and post migration factors are often not analyzed in relation to how they shape health and overall well-being of immigrant and refugee groups across multiple intersecting categories of difference (race, gender, class) and policy.
