Ranging from local governance and gender politics, my research focuses on understanding the evolution and status of the Punjabi diaspora in Canada. Immigration trends from India are an addition to and impacting Canadian politics culture. Large populations of the Punjabi community are settled in Canada and contribute to business and the economy. From a global affairs perspective, this area of study is essential, given the journey of the Indian Punjabi minority, now a stronghold of Punjabi diaspora worldwide.
