We are hiring: Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist (part-time at 60% FTE) will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications and knowledge mobilization plans, developing an editorial calendar and creating associated content, managing social media accounts, supporting member outreach and engagement, and providing media outreach for both the Centre for Migration Studies (CMS) as a whole, and for the Canada First Excellence Research Funds research program Immigrant Integration in the Mid-21st Century: Bridging Divides (Bridging Divides), housed within CMS. This position requires collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including faculty members, trainees, and staff in other administrative and communications units at UBC; communications staff and researchers at Bridging Divides partner universities; and local community partners.
