Atmaza Chattopadhyay (she/they) recently graduated with a BA in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics and a minor in Gender and Women Studies from UBC Okanagan. Their bachelor’s thesis focused on the intersectional impacts of various microfinance models, factoring in caste and class, on rural women in India and Bangladesh. Atmaza has worked for many campus offices at UBC-O such as the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response office, Student Experience office and the AMP Lab. She has also been an editorial board member for the feminist journal, That’s What We Said, for the past three years.
