About

My dissertation project focuses on Chinese queer migrants in North America. I am interested in how socioeconomic status, race, gender and sexuality are mutually constitutive in shaping their migration trajectory and post-migration experiences. Using Chinese gay and lesbian immigrants as a theoretical case, I seek to contribute to the sexuality of migration scholarship.
