I am interested in exploring the ways in which discourses around “welcoming immigrant and refugees” can be seen as an exercise of power and contribute to the reproduction of positional inequalities. In doing so, I aim at formulating a right to non-assimilation and right to one’s own community enclave for refugees and immigrants.
