About

A connective thread in much of my research is the political role of migrant civil society, particularly as organizational hubs of community organizing and policy advocacy. My current book project investigates these issues in the context of Indigenous Pacific Islander social movements in the continental United States and Aotearoa New Zealand. Elsewhere, I am interested in the politics of Indigenous migration and trans- Indigenous solidarity: how Indigenous migrants understand, frame, and respond to their accountability as Indigenous settlers on other Native lands.
